Geert Eichhorn, Executive Innovation Director

Advertising Academy alumnus turned innovation instigator: Geert grew up on the web and is always on the lookout for new tech. After a short stint designing apparel for a footwear giant, Geert switched lanes and specialised in digital advertising. Since joining MediaMonks, he’s been on a never ending quest to memorise the internet and has since become a digital knowledge-bank beyond imagination. 

As MediaMonks’ Innovation Director, Geert brings home the gold for some of the tech sector’s biggest brands — enhancing their projects and applying their technology in order to push boundaries and possibilities. He spends his days fostering collaborations and consulting on partnerships that influence the future of technology.

On a more personal level, Geert defines new standards with a no nonsense attitude, not afraid to push back if something doesn’t feel right. Integrity & values are cornerstones in his work. He has a creative mind with a core understanding of how technology works and evolves, while keeping in mind the ethical implications of it all. He’s loyal and dedicated, and loves to lead, educate and inspire by fostering a nurturing creative environment for innovation.

All of this makes for a unique combination of leadership, creative directing with mad-scientist tech wizarding. When he’s not sniffing out upcoming innovations he’s either staying on top of his GIF-game or sharing some of his latest Lomo snaps.
